How do i speed up ma system

Hello guys i av a bit of a problem. Ma system runs slow these days i've tried disk defragmentation, disk clean up but the situation is not improvin. Please i need solutions to this problem. Thanks pals.

Os windows vista anti virus eset nod 32 pentium M

I've heard some my friends saying that window vista is slow in some system but fast in others. It depends on what u do wit it cos it was originally made for business men.
