Browse Free On MTN With Modify Headers On Firefox & Flock

Modify Headers is a  Mozilla Firefox Add-on which can be install on your browser and with some simple settings, you're on your way to browsing free on MTN network.

Follow these simple steps for the configurations:

1.   You will need Firefox or Flock browser to use this Modify Header Add-on. If you don't have any, Google search Mozilla Firefox or Flock and download the least version (3.6.3 or above) or Flock (version 2.6.0 or 2.6.1)

2.   Download Modify Headers v0.6.8 for Firefox and v0.6.6 for Flock. See below for the download links.

3.   Open your Firefox or Flock browser and drag the (downloaded) Modify Headers into the browser, then install it in your browser and restart your broswer.

4.   Now you should have Modify Headers in your browser's Tools options.

5.   Now click on Tools > Modify Headers.

6.   In Modify Headers, click on the dropdown menu, Add, in the first field, type: Host, in the second field, type: www.mtnfootball.com, in the third field, type: 8080, then click Add.

7.   Click on the dropdown menu again, Modify, in the first field, type: Host, in the second field, type: www.mtnfootball.com, in the third field, type: 8080, then click Add.

8.   Now if you're using Modify Headers v0.6.6, click on "Configuration" and thick/check "Always on", but if you're using Modify Headers v0.6.8, click "Options" and thick/check "Always on",  then close Modify Headers and start browsing free.

NOTE: Set your Firefox proxy to MTN default IP (i.e. 10.199.212.2 and Port 8080).

To do this, click Tools > Option > Advanced > Network > Settings > Manual Proxy Configuration. Then enter the I.P and the Port in the designated boxes.

To login to secure sites (ssl) like facebook, yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc, you need to use proxy sites like hidemyass.com, daveproxy.co.uk, etc.

hi oga OJ my proxomitron has  never been able to open yahoomail,hotmail,facebook or even gmail,but other regular internet connections open them all on the same lapy,i believe that something in the configuration is blocking or filtering out these sites.what can i do to have proxo.....open these all important sites?.ur urgent reply is needed pls.

Those sites are SSL Sites, so they might not open. To get around this issue, you have to access those sites through a proxy site like www.daveproxy.co.uk, www.hidemyass.com. Hope it helps?
